Overview of my 5 Unique Leadership Identities

Through a series of self-reflection, I have identified 5 unique leadership identities that developed through my key learning experiences.

  • Mindful Global Facilitator

  • Active Listener

  • Reflective Researcher

  • Problem Solver

  • Empowering Mentor

My chosen identities are important to me because they reflective my leadership core values.

Identified as a global citizen, I promote cross cultural communication on various formal and informal settings as a facilitator. I often find myself encouraging people to share about their authentic opinions and experiences to promote genuine understanding across different population.

Beyond merely being a facilitator, I identify myself as a mindful one whom is not only curious about the world, but also fosters an authentic and safe environment for people of different background to come together and share their opinions with each other.

While fostering cross-cultural communication, either micro-cultural or macro-cultural, I have grown into a skilled active listener and problem solver. I believe that active listening opens the door for genuine understanding. Along with my flexibility, I have become a good problem solver.

Last but not least, I am passionate about not only self-growth but also the growth of my community as a whole. Thus I am constantly working with the mindset of empowering others as I am mentoring other future leaders.
